I wrote a book. It nearly broke me.
When I set out to write "Droplets of Love," I thought the tough part would be the writing. I was wrong.
The hard part was everything else – the self-doubt, the frustration, the unexpected twists and turns, managing relationships with collaborators, the days I seriously considered walking away.
Going through all of that showed me what authors actually need: someone steady and experienced alongside them. Someone with a bag of effective tools to guide and support them through the tricky parts of the book-writing process that take you by surprise.
The Book That Changed Everything
I wrote Droplets of Love because I wanted to support those who find it hard to love and accept themselves. My intention was to reassure, inspire, and empower people to open into self-love.
It seemed straightforward enough. I had something I wanted to say and felt called to share it with the world.
What surprised me wasn’t just how demanding the book-writing process was, but how deeply personal it became. With each chapter, I found myself thrown into experiences that ultimately led to greater inner healing. As I was working on the book, I sensed the book was working on me.
Writing about my own life stirred up old wounds and revealed parts of myself that needed loving attention. I ignored the signals to slow down and kept pushing through burnout, determined to cross the finish line regardless of the personal cost.
The relationships around the book added another layer of complexity. Maintaining my voice was non-negotiable, so after some soul searching I parted ways with my first editor mid-project.
Three years in the making, friends and family grew weary of hearing about the book, and at times the process felt deeply lonely. My energy was largely consumed by my book.
And it showed me this: writing a book isn’t just a creative act. It asks something of you emotionally, relationally, and energetically – right through to the end.
What I Learned the Hard Way
By the time my book was published, I was deflated and worn out.
Looking back, I could see that by not having the right kind of support, I’d made the process far harder than it needed to be.
I had a library of wonderful tools from years of helping people work through obstacles – ways to get unstuck, deal with painful emotions, quiet the inner critic, and navigate difficult relationships. And yet, when it came to my own book, I struggled to apply them consistently.
That’s when something became clear to me: writing a book is its own kind of challenge. It calls for support that understands the emotional, relational, and energetic demands of the process.
Not craft advice – there’s plenty of that.
Not cheerleading – though that has its place.
What makes the difference is steady, experienced support from someone who’s been through it and has effective tools to help you stay grounded, look after yourself, and finish your book.
How I Can Help
Before I wrote my book, I spent nearly 20 years supporting people as they worked through various obstacles in their lives. My focus has always been the same: helping people get unstuck, deal with difficult emotions and negative self-talk, connect with their inner guidance, and maintain momentum.
I’ve worked with people navigating self-doubt, creative blocks, burnout, and relationship issues. I’ve supported them in finding clarity when they felt overwhelmed, rebuilding trust in themselves, and staying with what mattered to them when giving up felt easier.
Now, I bring all of that experience specifically to authors.
I understand the complex demands of writing a book because I’ve lived them. And I know that the right kind of support, at the right time, can be the difference between a book that gets finished and one that’s abandoned.
Not a Writing Coach
Let me be clear about what I don’t do. I won’t teach you story structure. I won’t edit your manuscript. I won’t give feedback on your prose. There are plenty of people who do that well.
What I do is support you with everything else – the stubborn internal blocks, the tenacious inner critic, the doubts and fears, the difficult dynamics with your book team, the burnout, and the sense of being alone in the process.
I help you get out of your own way so you can share your work with the world. I guide you as someone who’s been there and knows what this process can ask of you.
An Easier Way Forward
If you’re writing a book and finding yourself stuck, second-guessing everything, or losing momentum, you don’t have to do it alone.
I work one-to-one with authors who want to get out of their own way, navigate the internal and relational challenges of writing, and actually bring their book to completion — without burning out or ignoring their wellbeing in the process.
If this feels like the kind of support you’ve been looking for, let’s talk about what you need and whether working together makes sense.

A Fellow Creative
I'm also a painter. I know what it's like to stare at a blank canvas, to doubt whether what you're making matters, to move through the resistance and find something worth sharing on the other side.
Creativity is hard. Whether you're writing a book or painting a canvas, the same obstacles show up: self-doubt, perfectionism, the fear that you have nothing original to say. I've faced all of it.
That's why I understand what you're going through. Not just as someone who's studied techniques for getting unstuck, but as someone who's had to use them on myself—over and over again.
